Sage Arts Unlimited 10th Anniversary Party - Saturday, April
14th

It's official, Sage Arts Studio has now been operational for over 10
years. In order to celebrate, we are holding an Open
House/Homecoming Party for all of our past students, their friends and
family. Please join us on Saturday, April 14th for an evening of
fun, talk and merriment. We will have some Bruce Lee movies
playing, food and beverages available, and many many old faces.

This event is also going to be the first of several fund raisers over the
next year. We are planning to move the studio's location next
February, and for this we need to raise funds to cover the cost of
moving. We will be holding a raffle, giving away private
lessons and group classes, a set of swords, and a special prize for the
student with the most creative excuse for why they have not been
training.

The party begins at 7 PM and will be held at the school (1579 South 38th
Street, Milwaukee , WI 53215). The cost is $5 per person.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you plan to attend, so we can
estimate a head count for the evening. I look forward to seeing
each of you again soon.

We have recently updated the credits list on our website. Over the
past 10 years Mr. Sell has worked with over 500 students. Take a

Henry Matamoros Brazilian Jiujitsu Seminar - Saturday, May 5th,
2007

Sage Arts students will be joining our training partners at Four
Winds Martial Arts in order to welcome Henry Matamoros for a day of
Brazilian Jiujistsu. Henry recently swept the advanced open
division at the Arnold's Classic in Ohio, a division which had over 30
participants. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the
subtleties of this art from a teacher with a wealth of competition
experience. Some students will be eligible for promotion.
Cost is $50 in advance (by April 28th) or $60 at the door. The
seminar will run from 11 AM - 3 PM and will be held at Four Winds Martial
Arts, 10633 W. Oklahoma Avenue, West Allis, WI 53227. Contact
Sue Sipin to register: 414-541-3656 or by email:

Midwest Stickfighting Challenge - Saturday, May 12th, 2007

The next stickfighting season is about to begin. Four Winds
Martial Arts will be hosting the next tournament which will be held at
the Alverno College Gymnasium on Saturday, May 12th, 2007. This
event is geared towards beginners, offering both WEKAF-rules and Padded
stickfighting divisions. This is an excellent chance for newer
students to get their feet wet and learn more about this exciting combat
sport. Details will soon follow including rules, times and costs,
however plans are to offer all participants a chance to fight multiple
times in each format.

Welcome to all new students

We would like to congratulate our newest students for making
the commitment to training on a regular basis. We welcome Mark E.,

we now have a limited number of lockers available for rent. The
cost is $5 per month, payable with your monthly dues. These are
available on a first come - first serve basis, so contact us quickly if
you are interested.

Special Thanks

I would like to thank everyone who joined us for the Movie Night this
