This is by no means a great painting, but I include it because it was the first plein air painting I ever painted. In a sense, it allows me to see how far I’ve come since then. I can still remember the day, the location, the problems I had getting all my gear on site. I cannot begin to describe how much I’ve learned since then. There are no short cuts.
