Sports Photography – Biggest Loser 5K Race

DSC_2839

In September of this year I was hired to photograph the Biggest Loser 5K Run/Walk Race in Racine, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, as of December 10th, 2014, I have yet to be paid for this event.

The photography was handled by Wayne Bowring out of Connecticut, the outfit name is OzSportsPhoto www.ozsportsusa.com. In spite of repeated messages and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, the only thing I’ve gotten so far is the run-around. I recommend that photographers avoid this guy. Regardless of how this turns out I guarantee I will not be working for them again.

My camera and I know that what counts in photography is not the number of shots we take, the speed of our burst, nor the gear we buy. We know that it is the quality that counts. We will nail it…

My camera is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its lenses. I will keep my camera clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will shoot…

My camera and I will surpass limitations that stop other photographers. When we are exhausted, hungry, tired, busy, we will shoot…
