I was recently fortunate to be able to shoot portraits of an old friend. Matt is someone I grew up with and have known since high school. While many of us at the time played music, he was one of the few to really stick with it, and has been involved in some noteworthy bands. These images were taken as reference photos for a commissioned portrait painting, which was to be gift for their Mom. Initially we weren’t sure if we were going to go with a single painting of both girls, or one painting of each girl, so we took a variety of high and low key shots.
