Below is a list of gear that we recommend for our students. We strongly suggest talking to Guro Sell before buying gear online or in sporting goods stores, as there are some brands worth avoiding. We work hard to provide our students with well made gear that is designed to withstand the rigors of training and last a long time. If there is something you want that is not on this list, talk to us and we will find it for you, or tell you the best place to find it.

Shock Doctor Mouthguard

The mouthguards we recommend come with a dental warranty, in the event you damage a tooth in training. These also have hard rubber inserts to prevent you from biting through them while sparring.

When you are ready to try HEMA training, this will be the first piece of gear. This nylon longsword has a rubber handle and a plastic crossguard, and will take a great deal of contact.
