These photographs were taken while I was redesigning the website for this business. Quest Graphics is a print shop that specializes in Flexographic printing, as well as offset, silk screening and other forms of printing.

Late last year I proposed a website redesign to Troy, the owner of Quest Graphics in Waukesha, Wisconsin. They were suffering from one of the worst websites I had ever seen. It was also not being updated, and had out of date information. I don’t think they were getting any new business from it, and quite possibly were losing business because of it.

There was a painting event this weekend. It seems I won an award.

In September of this year I was hired to photograph the Biggest Loser 5K Run/Walk Race in Racine, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, as of December 10th, 2014, I have yet to be paid for this event.

The photography was handled by Wayne Bowring out of Connecticut, the outfit name is OzSportsPhoto www.ozsportsusa.com. In spite of repeated messages and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, the only thing I’ve gotten so far is the run-around. I recommend that photographers avoid this guy. Regardless of how this turns out I guarantee I will not be working for them again.

The Before Picture

This Sunday I was contracted by Gameface Media to shoot pre- and post-race photos at the Tough Mudder Event in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Of all the mud races, this one tends to attract the more serious participants. Sundays are typically slower than Saturdays when you have a two day event. That being said I was shooting for about 7 and a half hours. The photos I was taking required being on my feet the whole time, crouching, squatting or kneeling repeatedly to get a good angle. I felt that in the days after.

Another day, another mud pit. I was contracted to shoot the Down & Dirty obstacle at the Waukesha Dirty Girl 5K Mud Run for Gameface Media. This event was held at the Waukesha Expo Center. A long day of shooting, more sunburn, dehydration, and lack of food, shooting from 8am until around 6pm. I took over 7500 images that day. At least the venue wasn’t far.
